Last weekend Katherine’s boss and CEO, Scott, from our company’s Tucson division came into town for the Monaco Grand Prix. He invited us to catch up with him having coffee at his hotel in Valbonne. Meaning “the good valley”, Valbonne has traces of prehistoric human settlement in the area that date back to the Iron Age and it’s only about 15-20 minute drive from our place in Antibes. How cool is that? Talk about history!

Having coffee in the Square (Valbonne, FR)

Obviously the town is very old…so old in fact that the sidewalks we walked on were no wider than Miss G’s stroller! There is one main square in the town and we were fortunate to have great weather last weekend and be able to have coffee and enjoy “petit-déjeuner” (aka breakfast) outside in the square. Prior to heading home a couple hours later, we walked over to the church and found some hiking trails which we decided that we’d enjoy another day. There is also an incredible restaurant that serves amazing pizza right in the square as well. Ummm pizza…but, again, for the next trip there!

As always, enjoy the slideshow and we’ll see you soon!

Au revoir, mon ami!
